Acho que vai mesmo a passar a ser uma rubrica sem periodicidade definida.Tanto posso pintar as unhas três vezes por semana,como posso passar duas semanas sem as pintar,portanto quando pintar as unhas e se tudo correr bem trago-vos fotos,se não,pronto,se não não,ninguém se chateia e ficamos todos amigos.

Nem me lembrava que tinha este verniz,para ser sincera,ia à procura de um azul clarinho,tipo menta,mas encontrei este e achei-o tão bonito que decidi pintar as unhas com ele.A verdade é uma,deve ser dos poucos vernizes que tenho da linha multi dimension da ESSENCE (que já não existe) que eu realmente gosto porque não tem demasiado brilho e cobre perfeitamente com uma única camada,o que é fantástico.

Peço desde já desculpa às meninas que esperavam hoje novas fotos das roupas para venda mas a imagem explica como a minha tarde foi passada. De manhã não tive tempo e à tarde lá fui eu consultar uma médica por causa da minha alergia facial que não tem melhorado. Chegamos à conclusão que o mais certo é eu ter feito mesmo alergia ao meu novo gel de limpeza da Vichy (o qual suspendi mal me dei conta da situação da minha pele),assim sendo vou fazer esta pomada corticóide durante cinco dias, se não passar ai sim vou mesmo de ter de recorrer a um dermatologista. Quando cheguei a casa já não tinha luz natural que chegasse para fotografar as peças e sinceramente para além de estar cansada não gosto de usar flash para este tipo de coisas. Espero que percebam.

Tenho mais algumas fotos depois do 'corte' que podem ver,de peças que vou juntar à venda.

Peço uma vez mais imensa desculpa pela qualidade,é por isto mesmo que não gosto de usar certas imagens naquelas que crio para o blog,mas penso que dará para vocês perceberem.

Estes são alguns dos vestidos (e túnica que estou a pensar vender),adoro-os do fundo do coração mas mal os uso,ou seja,não gosto de ver estas belezas sem utilidade e com uma dona tão desleixada como eu,por isso pensei em arranjar-lhes casas novas.

O primeiro vestido é da Blanco e os outros 3 da H&M.O da Blanco nunca foi usado,o 1º da H&M não tem etiqueta mas foi só usado para uma rápida sessão fotográfica,o 2º usado uma mão cheia de vezes e o último teve mais algum uso mas está em perfeito estado.

Diga quem estiver interessado,assim posso tirar fotos e dar todas as informações necessárias.

Estas são algumas das peças que tenho em mente vender,apenas uma amostra. Desculpem-me desde já pela qualidade da imagem mas foi um rápido crop-copy-paste de imagens que tinha à mão. Muitas destas peças servem a diferentes tamanho o que é fantástico.O vestido preto (do qual preciso fotos melhores) é lindo ao vivo,da Blanco e ainda tem etiqueta,comprei-o à um ano e nunca lhe dei uso,talvez por causa das lantejoulas,mas não sei bem,porém é perfeito para uma saída à noite e é um L,não muito largo,se alguém estiver já interessado.

Um diary composto por um amontoado de imagens de Águeda, cidade por onde passei ontem para parar e tomar um cafézinho,seguindo-se um passeio rápido à beira rio antes mesmo de termos ido buscar o novo carro da família,ou melhor da minha mãe,uma vez que o meu pai tem para ele um que compramos em Dezembro.Foi um dia muito bom colmatado com uma ida ao shopping aonde arranjei um novo par de calças da Ralph Lauren que são,posso garantir-vos,as melhores calças que tive até hoje, assentam na perfeição,até parece que foram feitas à medida,mas mostro-vos tudo em breve.

Mas mais novidades,ai bem ai coisa boa se continuarem a ler...

Este é o meu novo carrinho! Sim,meu!!! Nunca tive um carro,ainda estou em processo de tirar a carta,mas conto que já no Verão esteja despachada e achamos (eu e o papás,e o mano que também o vai conduzir quando tiver a carta dele) que esta menina,sim acho que é menina,é perfeita para eu andar a dar as minhas voltas.Sempre quis um VW Golf (ou um Porsche 911,ahah),mas quando me deram a escolher fui para este.É lindo ou não é?

Um diary muito fraquinho de uma menina que apanhou uma bela duma alergia e que agora tem a cara cheia de papinhos que dão muita comichão,e agora está a alastrar ás orelhas. Tenho uma sorte descomunal não tenho?

Aww!! é a expressão com a qual eu fico quando navego pelo site da Zara, essa e a frustração de não ter uma carteira infindável e em alguns casos,uns kilos a menos (mas isto tem solução).
De tantas peças lindas estas são aqueles que me deixam o coração a bater mais rápido e a cabecinha do mundo da lua,porque verdade seja dita,se não fosse pelos preços (que vá lá,nem são nada de exorbitante) vinham todas comigo para casa, nem que fosse para eu as admirar tempos sem fim!

Acho que pelos menos aquele vestido rosa perfeito,que eu e mais outras mil pessoas querem,vai vir comigo para casa,quanto mais não seja como birthday dress,mas daqui até Abril pode ser que a minha decisão mude!

Ainda não sei se passa a rubrica se não porque sinceramente à semanas que apenas ando com as unhas arranjadas mas não pintadas, mas sinceramente nem sabia que nome lhe havia de dar portanto fui avante com o primeiro que me veio à cabeça.

Uma manicure simples e rápida, que funciona lindamente para qualquer coisa e qualquer sítio aonde vão. Um tom nude, muito próximo do tom de unha que lhe dá um brilho e uma homogeneização da cor e depois um pouco de brilho nas pontes, quase que como uma manicure francesa, diferente, mais simples, despreocupada e que funciona lindamente e vai bem com tudo.

As it started it was not meant to be a diptych, it was not even meant to join the three of us in the same image but it happened like that because it was bigger than me, it called to be done in this way and so I did it and I don’t regret it, not a little bit even if it may be strange to you.

Me, my brother and our dog, who is for us, and this is a mutual feeling, our brother too. We love that dog and I know I talk for both of us, as much as a brother, he is part of the family. I love my dog more than what I love most people I know and I have the best reasons for it. Some of you will understand it, others will not, but for those who do I praise you for coming even close to know how it feels like to bond in this way with an animal. We love him and he loves us, he’s blindly faithful and he loves unconditionally even in the worse times and trust me he was been with us through some very severe times of our lives as a family, times that were not easy and that would make most people leave their animals to someone else,in the side of the road or in a shelter, but he stood and we made sure he stood with us,no matter how hard things were and we never regret that decision. He may be a little pig at times but loves us more than anything. He’s a protector, even if tiny, a friend and he is most of all a member of this family and a brother to me and my brother and nothing else can be said.

About my brother, well, he may as well be one of my best friends even if we fight like the cat and the mouse, like Tom and Jerry, in the end I would burn my hands or give my life for him and I know that he would do the same. You may hurt me but if you touch my little boy, who is not so little anymore and is taller than me even if some four years younger, I will go after you and make your life a living hell, that is a promise.

So, not counting with my parents and grandparents, this is my family, my siblings, those I love and want around me for as long as life allows them to be. Those I will love despite all circumstances, despite of where life leads me or how far apart we are, that’s love and this is family, the family of blood and the family I choose.

The photos themselves are not pretty, not focused, filled with grain, with no decent light but I don’t care anymore, they are up to my standards. I am tired of trying to fill someone else’s shoes, I am doing this for myself. The praise is good and I look forward the day that people will look forward to my work, the day when I will have an explored photo, we all know we want it, but for now I do this because I love it, because it makes me move on each day, because it makes me happy and that is it, for myself, not for others, not through someone else’s perspective through the lens but my own vision.

Love it if you may, hate if you want, it will keep and I will persevere, now and always.

Não há de facto muito que se lhe diga.Este homem nunca me desaponta e cada vez me surpreende mais.Para muitos ele pode ser repetitivo e alguém que aposta unicamente no que conhece,para mim ele é um dos designers que torna as mulheres em verdadeiras princesas e conhece de facto o corpo feminino e como o realçar. Os tons pastéis são a minha perdição e o ponte forte do Elie,tal como os tecidos esvoaçantes e as aplicações fabulosas. Existem ali alguns vestidos mais estruturados que ele conseguiu executar na perfeição.Sem palavras,é o que vos digo!

There is not much to say.This man never lets me down and he surprises me more and more each time.For many he is quite repetitive and only goes for what he knows best,for me he is one of those designers who can turn a woman into a fairytale princess and actually knows the female body and the ways to make it stunning. The pastel tones are my paradise and Elie's strenght, just like the flowing fabrics and the fabulous details. There are few structured dresses but still he managed to execute them perfectly. Spechless!

Remember that yesterday i talked about a certain chair that i would use today? Well, nothing could be done as my mother moved it to the garage where it’s stored in the middle of what knows where and go haunting for that chair to bring it up for just a couple photos would be like taking a journey to Narnia, even the comparison is not that good.

Anyhow,I made something different. After much thinking I decided it was the day to make another portrait shoot, even if my face is not that pleasing,mostly at the moment that I am sick, but the light was nice, or so I believed and I had a thousand things to do and shooting gave the the perfect excuse to procrastinate on the things I have to do. I am very much in love with the outtake but I will post it separately because in my heart and my head,it deserves a much better place other than the comment section,so hold on for a few hours and then it will come.

Not much to say other then I was having a good time making loads of photos,using my purple comforter over my bunk bed and wearing a very old,very lady like, satin and lace robe that belonged to my mother and she never used, so I took it as mine, no matter what she says.Guess that in those days that I feel sick and ugly I just have to put on something feminine to feel a little bit better.

Emma Stone com Lanvin - Uma rapariga jovem,bastante nerdy mas que quando quer ser fabulosa consegue-o sem muito esforço. A cor assenta-lhe na perfeição e fico feliz por ela se manter com o cabelo ruivo,depois de ter passado pelo loiro.O toque especial está no cinto com a águia da vitória.Afinal não custa assim tanto por um bocadinho de cada um de nós naquilo que vestimos.

Mila Kunis com Dior - Simples,elegante,graciosa.Esta mulher parece e é para mim uma autêntica deusa. Lindíssima e dona de uma personalidade estonteante, ela nunca me deixa mal quando pisa a passadeira vermelha.

Evan Rachel Wood com Gucci Premiére - Foi das primeiras fotos da noite que vi e foi claro uma das que mais amei,não fosse a Evan umas das minhas fashion icons. Este verde escuro,com tonalidades subjacentes ficou-lhe a matar.Brilhos,efeito pavão a rematar o final do vestido,costas abertas. Tudo lhe cai perfeitamente e com aquela pele de boneca ela arrasou.

Shailene Woodley com Marchesa - 20 aninhos cheios de estilo.Um vestido simples,com apontamentos que marcaram a diferença.A beleza desta rapariga conjugou tão bem com a sua escolha e fico pasmada só de olhar.Nem sei mais o que dizer,adorei.

Julie Bowen - Muitos dizem que ela usou um Elie Saab,mas quem perceber minimamente de moda vê logo que se trata de um Reem Acra, e de 2008, já usado pela Olivia Wilde numa outra cor, mas mesmo assim nada tira a beleza deste vestido que para mim bem que é um clássico.A Julie parece uma autêntica Grace Kelly.

Taissa Farmiga - Irmã mais nova da conhecida Vera Farmiga, esta cara linda tem 17 anos e muitas cartas para dar. O vestido caiu-lhe na perfeição e não lhe deu um único dia a mais ou a menos daqueles que tem e acho isso importante.A cor apesar de clara tem uma tonalidade única e foi-lhe bastante favorável.

The color fits her perfectly and i am happy that she is sticking with her red hair,after going on through a blonde phase. The special touch is in the belt with the victory eagle.After all it's not so hard to put a little bit of us in everything we wear.

Everything falls perfectly upon this woman and with that doll's skin she was looking stunning.

Shailene Woodley with Marchesa - 20 years full of style. A simple dress, with details that stated and marked the different.The beauty of this girl went so well with her choice to wear for the GG and i get amazed just by staring at her.I do not know what else to say,just loved it.

Julie Bowen - Many will call it an Elie Saab,but those who know little about fashion can right away see that this is actually a Reem Acra,and from 2008,already worn by Olivia Wilde in another color,still there is nothing that can make this gown any less beautiful and for me it's quite a classic. Tantas escolhas,dirão vocês,é um facto mas a minha paixão por nudes levou-me a tal. Esta nove senhora são apenas uma pequena amostra do muito nude que desfilou ontem à noite e são,para mim,a melhor amostra.

Não vou falar muito e assim sendo vou-me limitar a apontar os meus favoritos.

Sarah Paulson,Jessica Biel e Sarah Hyland. A Jessica Biel trouxe-nos um Elie Saab,e eu sendo fã incondicional do trabalho de tal gênio tinha de adorar o vestido. A Sarah Paulson parecia uma verdadeira boneca e acho que estava fabulosa. A Sarah Hyland, que tem a minha idade e um gosto pela moda fabuloso, mostrou que bastam os apontamentos certos para deixar qualquer um de queixo caído.

Toda a gente fez vénia perante a Charlize, eu sinceramente, apesar de gostar do vestido não acho que ele seja nada do outro mundo,gostei muito mais do penteado e da maquilhagem que da farpela em si mesma. A Angelina Jolie é dona da sobriedade e estava lindíssima com aquele toque de vermelho a dar-lhe o efeito que faz virar cabeças.

So many choices,you will be saying, it's a fact but my passion for nudes made me do so. These night ladies are just a small sample of the much nude seen yesterday on the red carpet, and they are also the best sample, for me that is.

I won't talk much and leave you only with my pointed out favorites.

Sarah Paulson,Jessica Biel and Sarah Hyland. Jessica brought and Elie Saab and knowing i am such an obsessed fan over his work i just had to love this dress. Sarah looked just like a doll and she was fabulous,imo. Sarah Hyland, that has the same age that i do and a fabulous love for fashion, showed out that just a few right appointments and details can leave anyone with their jaw dropping.

Everyone bowed before Charlize, honestly and even though i liked the dress i don't think that it was nothing from the outter world of amazingness, i much more prefered her hairstyle and make-up. Angelina Jolie is owner of a temperance and she was beautiful with that touch of red that always makes heads turn.

Não foram muitas as meninas que apostaram em cor, mas as que fizeram conseguiram-no muito bem. Das escolhidas nas fotos a minha predilecção recai sobre a Diana Agron, Maria Menounos e ainda a Kelly Macdonald.

A Jessica Alba fez uma aposta segura,mas estava igualmente linda. A Tilda Swinton manteve-se fiel ao seu carácter mais 'estranho' e o que para muitos foi o horror para mim foi uma boa escolha e adorei o tom pálido sobre a sua pele extremamente clara.

A Lea Michele foi uma das grandes sensações da noite com este vestido figure hugging, bastante metálico da casa Marchesa, foi uma completa bomba de sensualidade.

O vestido da Diana foi tudo recortado a laser e esta rapariga realmente sabe ser diferente e ser sempre bela e o vermelho ficou-lhe a arrasar. Tanto a Maria como a Kelly apostaram em cortes simples mas aonde a cor e o brilho eram os factores principais e lhes davam o factor wow!

There were not many ladies choosing colorful dress, but those who did,well,did it quite well. From the ones above my love falls upon Diana Agron, Maria Menounos and Kelly Macdonald.

Jessica Alba made a very safe bet but she was equally stunning. Tilda Swinton kept being faithful to her 'weird' way to be and for what many was a complete horror for me was a good choice and i loved the pale tone of this dress over her very fair complexion.

Diana's dress was all indented by laser and this girl really knows how to state a difference and always keep her beauty and of course the red fit her so well. Maria and Kelly both bet on simple cuts but where the color and shine were two important factors to give them that wow everyone looks forward in the red carpet!

As minhas escolhas das meninas que apostaram no preto. Para muitos tanto a Zooey como a Shaun cometeram erros, para mim foram duas escolhas que gostei. A Rooney Mara estava lindíssima e em nada fugiu ao seu estilo. A Shaun Robinson optou por algo simples e apesar de não ir a gritar por atenção acho que funcionou muito bem e que lhe assentava perfeitamente nas formas. A Zooey Deschanel,fashion icon e role model para mim,apostou naquilo que ela mesmo é. Não queiram fazer da rapariga algo que ela não é,o pior da passadeira vermelha,para mim,é quando se mostram todas lindas e fabulosas,mas se sentem desconfortáveis pois aquele não é o seu estilo.A Zooey é mesmo assim, diferente, querida e só o seu sorriso e lindos olhos, tal como a irmã Emily Deschanel que também esteve presente, já bastavam para a tornar uma das mais belas da noite.

My choices when it comes to the ladies who wore black. For many people, Zooey and Shaun commited fashion suicide, but for me they were some of my most liked ones. Rooney Mara looked stunning and did not moved away from her style. Shaun Robinson choose something simpler and even thought it did not scream out for attention i think it worked out quite well and it fit her body perfectly. Ontem foi noite de Globos de Ouro e hoje é dia de falar das peças que desfilaram na passadeira vermelha! Vou ser resumida ao máximo,pois como sabem o meu tempo é escasso.

Senhoras de azul.Foram maioritariamente as caras lindas e um pouco mais maduras,com raras excepções, que apostaram nesta cor. Enquanto que a Jane Lynch e a Helen Mirren se ficaram por um tom mais escuro, sóbrio e real, que lhes assentou perfeitamente, em especial à Jane que não é tão dada a este tipo de vestuário, já a lindíssima Elizabeth Mcgovern (da fantástica séries Downton Abbey) conjugou um azul mais claro com uma parte superior preta que a favoreceu imenso, uma aposta segura mas que em nada ficou a perder.

Yesterday was Golden Globe's night and today is the day to speak about the pieces that went on through the red carpet! I will be as resumed as possible because you know i don't have much time.

Ladies in blue.They were mainly the pretty faces and mature ladies,with rare exceptions,that decided to bet on this color.Both Jane Lynch and Helen Mirren went for a darker shade of blue, sober and royal, that fit them perfectly, mostly to Jane who is not every used to this type of apparel, while the beautiful Elizabeth Mcgovern (from the fantastic show Downton Abbey) conjugated a lighter blue with a black upper part that was very much flattering for her, a safe bet but that got nothing to lose.

15/365 – The untold stories

I have had in mind,for a good while, to do an Alice themed photo. I have done it before, although quite differently, and today while preparing everything for the shoot and actually going on with the first idea I ended up seeing things that maybe did not fit so much into the Alice context, so perhaps this is a crossover between the Wizard of Oz (therefore the red shoes), Alice in Wonderland (thanks to the cards who presented themselves for this works and the tea set), and something else that I am not quite sure of what it can be.

This once again goes over the very girly side of me, the soft and very tender and pink flank of my mind but always with the twist. The photo not being absolutely vertical started as an error and ended up as part of the concept and the idea of falling. The rat, well, the rat was a last minute resource that I knew I had to put in, for some reason. I guess that overall I pretended to represent the point where all of us become adults, when fairytales end, when we fall upon the reality, when we become aware of our fears and we ran and find a safe place, not like children but like grown-ups. In the end we will always remember our childhood, the cuteness, the stories, but we have to grow, one way or the other, even if it’s hard and even if it’s frightening.

Yes,I have a tiny chair, done by my skillful grandfather who worked as a carpenter, and I wanted my play tea sets, the very old ones that my mother never let me use as a child but I cannot find them. Tomorrow I am planning something to show you off my new prop, it was the only things I asked to keep thus the death of my grandfather, back in September. You’ll see what I am talking about…tomorrow!

Não vou dizer muito,as imagens falam por si mesmas. Ontem em cima,hoje (já passa da meia-noite mas pronto) em baixo. O meu melhor amigo esteve ontem cá em casa,só o deixei ir depois das três da manhã e tivemos um bocadinho fabuloso.Aproveitar o fim-de-semana que ele veio passar a casa!

Hoje foi um dia passado com muito frio e com uma saída rápida à noite.Passei na Sephora e trouxe alguns mimos uma vez que não houvesse muito por onde escolher em saldos.

I won't talk much as the images speak for themselves. Yesterday above, today (well,it's already over midnight but whatever) under. My best friend came by and i only let him go after 3am and of course we had a fabulous times. Taking advantage over the weekend he had free to come back home!

To Friday 13th,for always being a good day for me and even thought today didn’t seem like one a simple call just a few minutes ago made this whole day be so much worth it. To superstitions, to bad luck and good luck, to the making of our own providence, to everything that happens and what will happen. Nothing important to be told, nothing that matters to be talked about, just me having fun and having people calling me crazy, making me feel good about it, and about that boy who is my best friend for as long as fifteen years and that arrives home tired, to see his family, knowing he leaves in a city far away from here and still calls me so we can go out for coffee after dinner. Today is for the friendship and not the bad luck, but the good one of keeping someone has great so far in my life.

Estou sem tempo e para melhorar tudo acho que estou a ficar doente,sim,logo quando menos tempo tenho para despender fico doente. O dia de ontem foi passado a descontrair, estava cansada da viagem a Espanha e sinceramente doía-me bastante o corpo. Um episódio novo de Pretty Little Liars,café,um docinho e a nova revista da ELLE foram as minhas companhias. Hoje,para além da faculdade, passei o resto do dia na cama. Estou com uma enxaqueca desde as 5 da manhã,sim leram bem,já vou na terceira dose de comprimidos e não vejo meio de isto passar, na volta ainda estou a chocar outra gripe.Parece que estou condenada de novo a passar outro Inverno de molho.

I have no time and to top it all i think i am get sink,yes,right at the moment i have no time for it i fall ill. Yesterday was spent relaxing,i was tired from the trip to Spain and honestly my whole body was sore. A new episode of PLL,coffee,a little sweet and the new ELLE magazine were my companies for the day. Today,besides college,i spent the rest of my day in bed. I have a migraine since 5am,yes you read it well,and i am already on the third round of painkillers and this is not getting any better, i guess that i will be into another flu soon. Seems like i'm doomed to spend another winter being sick.

12/365 – Bare Reveries

If you are my friend and follow me on Facebook you probably know that i was in the greatest doubt ever about what shoot to post up. If you don’t know them let me sum it up for you. I started with an idea, loads of make-up, bandaged head and did quite a lot of photos. Only then I decided to wash my face and as I got back to the place where I shoot this and looked at the veiling I thought that I could play around a little bit and it ends up that I loved more the final simple shoots then the ones that I initially worked and took me so long to do. However life is made of things like this, sometimes more is less and the simplest things are the ones that own our hearts. I also recurred to a help of my dear Lulu and she helped me out with choosing the image, not directly, but talking through things with her I came to the realization that this was the image I wanted.

She also asked me what was the concept behind the two images and I told her that there was none. Of course I could skip this part and try to come up with a brilliant story about how I thought of this shoot for long but I see no need to tell that lie because sometimes things are just like this. It’s like something comes up to your head, an image of what you want and not a real concept and you use that even though you can’t explain it. To me it’s something that happens quite often and while I sometimes can see the story behind the photos I made; this time around it’s just an image that came out of the blue, because I wanted to try out the cloth in question.

I was to call this one of Morbid Reveries just because years ago I did a quite similar shoot but very much darker and I was very much younger and my artistic side was much less developed and I untitled it back at the time of Morbid Reveries. However I decided it was not a good idea at this point to mix the past with the present and although I kept the Reveries in it I skipped the morbid because this image is light, there is nothing dark or morbid about it and the title would actually make no sense, no Bare Reveries it is. Bare for the fact that I stand nearly naked, as in bare skin; and reveries for they mean a state of dreamy meditation/daydream/fanficul musing,so I guess that it shows up well how this photo came up, it was just me playing around and pretending,having fun.

Um post rápido com apenas algumas das quase 500 fotos que fiz ontem.Uma viagem a Espanha que começou muito cedo e acabou já tarde mas que valeu a pena.Vigo e Santiago,museus,amigos,muita diversão e claro está,fiz três amiguinhos felpudos como sempre.

Bem,o dia de hoje foi passado de lado para lado,de certo modo,e ainda não está acabado!Organização de trabalhos,da agenda de trabalhos,aperceber-me que tenho cerca de duas semana para fazer imensos trabalhos para uma só disciplina para entregar no fim de Janeiro.Um dia em que andei a correr escolas de condução para saber aonde tirar a minha carta,afinal temos de nos informar de preços,serviços e tudo o resto.Um dia passado a pensar em coisas e ainda tenho de preparar tudo para amanhã ir passear para Espanha e ainda tenho de ir fazer compras de coisinhas para comer amanhã.E claro,as minhas botas novas e o desenho feito à algum tempo pela Maria do blog Pedras e Calhaus.

This is one of those raw shoots that besides from some color fix nothing else was added or taken out.The image shows what the reality holds and nothing less or nothing more.

It’s not often but at times I feel like I need to shake myself back into reality and I wish I could bring some people down with me.I wish I could make some of them see that the way they think,speak and act are nothing other than the product of how society told them to be,how they were taught,how they were brought to what they are today, and that somehow,they are very much wrong.

I am not the one claiming to be right but I just claim for the right to be who I want,how I want.The way I dress,my weight,my age,my choices in life define solemnly the person I have been,the person I am and the person I will be,so sticking up your nose in someone’s life when it’s not in the intention of doing real good or being a critic in a constructive way,is not right.

You can tell someone they are fat but if they feel right with themselves what’s the point of changing?Yes,they can do it,but if they want to do it that’s up to them and mostly that’s something that they have to do because they want to,not because you told them to.

You’re obviously not going to tell someone to grow up when they are naturally short,or to get hair when they are naturally bald,so why interfere with someone who feels right just the way they are? It’s something natural and maybe you’re the one lacking that confidence to be yourself.

I am certainly not trying to moralize anyone into my ideas but I am just saying that I feel good with the way I am,chunky tights,narrow waist but that is still large,big hips,I feel good,I am okay and if I ever get to lose weight (which I want just for health reasons) I will do it for myself,not because X,Y or Z told me to do so. If you don’t love me you can go somewhere else,but if you do you see me as a whole not just the number that the scale shows.

I spent the day cleaning.My new desk arrived and it has so much space and it's great to work! After a tiring afternoon i sat down with a warm drink while watching Marie Antoinette by Shophia Coppola,then proceeded to visit my grandmother and course,took the chance to buy the new Vogue magazing and bring an Estée Lauder duo make-up for just one euro.Now i will spend my night taking care of things for this upcoming week that now start because our neighboor country,Spain,will be waiting for me on Tuesday!

Yesterday,quite resumed in just a few photos from the many,really many we did yesterday.I spent the day with my dear Joana,yes we are two and inseparable,and with her friends and family. A day that started with some last minute revisions,a rushed lunch,a History of Art III exam that when really well and that ended up with me being very cozy and warm in my bed,with a warm beverage and my favorite book,that i am re-reading at the moment,this time in English.

I am a little frightned about posting this OOTD,however i liked this outfit way too much to just skip it.Please don't look at my face,i am more tired then a new born knowing that during finals' week the last thing a student thinks is about sleeping or resting. Hoje queria ter-vos trazido vários posts mas o meu dia foi planeado à última da hora e o que começou como uma rápida viagem à faculdade acabou numa tarde inteira de estudo que acabou depois das oito da noite e ainda vou a meio das minhas revisões para o meu exame de Estética que se realiza amanhã às 10h.Mesmo assim e com muita loucura e desespero à mistura,foi um dia bom.Revi os meus colegas de faculdade,ainda nos ri-mos e conseguimos estudar devidamente e assim cruzar opiniões.Ainda estou a receber postais de Boas Festas de diversas parte do Mundo e sabe tãooo bem!!!Já a minha pele anda realmente ressentida,especialmente lábios e mãos, imensamente secos e a 'estalar',por mais creme que use o cenário não muda!

I was to bring you some very nice posts today but my day was planned at the last minute and what started as a quick trip to college ended up in a whole afternoon of study that just ended after 8pm and i am still by the middle of my last revisions before my exam tomorrow at 10am. Still and with much crazyness and dispare amoung all of us,it was a pretty good day.I met with my college friends again,we had a lot of fun and we still managed to study properly and long as we shared a lot of different views,which was trully helpful.I am still receiving Holidays' cards from all over the world and it feels soo good!!! When it comes to my skin i have been having a really bad time,mostly hands and lips that are so very dry and 'cracking' no matter how much moisturizer i use!

A marca aposta desta vez nos tons neutros,bem down-to-earth,sem grandes brilhos,uma maquilhagem para o dia-a-dia,para quem gosta de andar maquilhado,bem arranjado mas sem dar demasiado nas vistas.Eu pessoalmente quero ver e testar esta colecção ao vivo,porque como sabem sou 'louca' por make-up em tons neutros para o dia-a-dia.

It's almost arriving to the MAC stores the Naturally collection and,of course,i had to come and sahre with you the images of the products that will be sold, so i could make you droll a little bit,just like i did.
The brand is this time betting on neutral tones,quite down-to-eart,without many shimmers,an everyday make-up for those who like to wear make-up,go around looking great but deslike to look like the center of attentions..or a clown.Personally i have to see and try out this collection as soon as i can,as you know i am 'crazy' for neutral everyday make-up.

Chega-nos então as primeiras imagens da colecção Primavera/Verão da Primark. Sinceramente, adoro quase todos os looks pois encaixam bem em todos os gosto,do mais feminino ao mais minimalista. Em termos de cores denotamos a tendência para o laranja,amarelo e azul água,cores fortes nesta nova estação que vamos poder ver por todos os lados, e claro está ainda os tons pastéis bem presentes em quase todas as imagens. We finally get to see the first images of the Spring/Summer collection from Primark. Honestly, i love almost all the looks presented above as they fit quite all a big range of different tastes,from the ones that are more feminine to those who are more into the minimalism. When it comes to tones we can see that the tendency fall upon orange,yellow and aqua blue,strong colors for this new season that we'll start seeing everywhere,and still the so usual and lovely pastel tones that are pictures in almost all the outfits. What do you think?

O dia de ontem,1 de Janeiro,foi assim! Passado em família,rumo ao Gerês e apesar do tempo nos ter estragado os planos com a chuva intensa,a viagem não perdeu a sua beleza. Enjoei,como de costume,mas as vistas do Gerês valem a pena,não fosse aquela serra um dos lugares que mais adoro visitar.

Comida boa,companhia fenomenal,vistas de cortar a respiração e um dia bem memorável para começar o ano!

Yesterday,January 1st,was just like this! Spent with my family,we took the way up to Gerês and although the weather ruined our plans with the heavy rain that started around lunch time,our trip was not any less beautiful. I got 'seasick' in the way,as usual,but the views from Gerês made it all worth it,after all those mountains are one of my all time favorite places to visit.

Good food, great company,breathtaking views and a memorable day to start off the year!

Aqui vai um post agendado e o segundo do ano! Por esta hora já vou eu longe e apesar de ter mil coisas para fazer deixo tudo pendente para estar a passar o dia em família! Este foi o meu outfit de ontem à noite,a camisola e os sapatinhos que já tinha deixado no Sneak Peek e tudo o resto. A camisola saltou-me à vista a primeira vez que a vi e apesar de não ser amante de brilhos,soube que ela tinha de ser minha e claro está,foi perfeita para o ano novo! Os sapatos esses são também nova aquisição.Lindos, confortáveis e de marca nacional,porque também devemos apoiar o que é novo e sinceramente a indústria do calçado portuguesa é uma das maiores e melhores do mundo!!!

Fotos bem melhores que as do ano passado,mas mesmo assim feitas a correr porque o meu dia não me deu muito tempo para parar. O que acham?

This is a scheduled post and the second of 2012! By now i am far,far away and even thought i have a million things to do i left everything waiting so i can spend the day with my family! This was my outfit from last night,the shirt and shoes were already around in the Sneak Peek. The blouse caught my eyes the first time i saw her standing right in front of me and even thought i avoid shinny things the most that i can i knew that this one has to be mine,and of course it was perfect to use for the New Year's Eve| The shoes are a new purchase.Beautiful,comfortable and from a portuguese brand,because we should also support the nacional design and most honestly the portuguese industry of shoes is one of the best and biggest ones in the world!!!

The photos are way better then those i did last year,still they were taken in a rush as my day left me with no time to stop. What do you think?

Lovelies,os saldos já arrancaram!

Sei que para muitos esta é a altura perfeita para fazer ginástica orçamental e gastar algum daquele dinheiro que as avós e tias nos deram no Natal,para outros esta é a época de fugir para bem longe de tudo o que seja loja e daquelas pessoas loucas que mais parecem saídas do meio de uma guerra!

A lojas da Inditex,tal como a ZARA,PULL&BEAR,BERSHKA e STRADIVARIUS já estão em saldos e nada melhor do que aproveitar as reduções para trazer esta ou aquela peça a que andamos a deitar o olho mas que o nosso bolso não gostava tanto! Para quem está numa de decorar a casa a IKEA trás descontos até 70% e mesmo que nem tudo valha a pena,por vezes conseguimos fazer os melhores achados!
Como maquilhagem nunca é de mais,pelo menos para mim,acho que a altura de saldos é a ideal para investir neste ou naquele produto da marca tal que é cara mas que realmente vale a pena! A KIKO,a SEPHORA e O BOTICÁRIO,entre outras lojas da especialidade têm para vocês alguns descontos realment apetecíveis.Se não acreditam basta verem a página da Sephora.

Agora chegou a parte dos conselhos,isto serve para mim mas também poderá ser útil a qualquer um de vocês:
-Saldos é de manhã e durante a semana.Esqueçam os saldos após a hora de almoço e aos fins-de-semana,a não ser,claro está,que estejam preparadas para entrar na guerra ou em locais que parecem autênticas feiras.
-De manhã encontram os melhores produtos e mais tamanhos,claro está.E ainda não se habilitam a apanhar com um casacão,ou pior,com o sapato na cabeça (sim,isto já me aconteceu).
-Esperar para o fim dos saldos não compensa.Se querem mesmo aquela peça vão nos primeiros dias.É certo que os preços baixam ainda mais em quase todas as lojas com o avançar dos saldos mas no final já quase não encontram nada.
-Procurem bem,nunca sabem o que podem encontrar e claro,vão às compras com tempo,pois ir com pressas não dá bom resultado e pode levar-vos a comprar coisas desnecessárias.
-Para evitar comprar coisas que não precisam e que nem vão usar façam listas,vejam o que precisam,o que querem,quanto podem gastar e estipulem um valor máximo total de compras e por peça.Todos sabemos o quanto é fácil perder a cabeça sobre isto ou aquilo.
-Experimentem as coisas antes de as trazer.Não há nada pior do que chegar a casa com aquele vestido lindo que não nos serve.Porém,se isto acontecer,podem sempre trocar.Pelo menos as lojas acima efectuam trocas em épocas de saldos,e não ser que a lei tenha sido modificada,todas as lojas são obrigada a fazer trocas nesta época,mas muitas dizem-nos que não.
-Vejam o vosso armário,limpem o que não precisam,vejam o que possa ser modificado e aquilo que poderia ser trocado por algo novo.
-Vejam as tendências da próxima estação,às vezes com algumas peças da velha colecção conseguimos dar o inicio a um guarda-roupa para a nova estação.Estejam atentos a cores,padrões,cortes e afins.
-Não vão às compras sem comer,é fácil de nos sentirmos mal com o calor,os apertões e as correrias que ocorrem durante os saldos,eu por mim falo.

Trago-vos então as coisinhas lindas e doces que recebi este Natal.Não foi uma montanha de presentes mas tudo o que recebi fez-me perceber que sou uma pessoa com sorte e com amigos e uma família fantástica sem os quais não podia viver!

I bring you now the cute and sweet things i got for Christmas.It was not a mountaing high of presents but what i received was enough to make me see how lucky i am as a person with the fantastic friends and family that i have and that i could not live without!

Prendas da minha melhor amiga (que mandou uma caixa enorme da Húngria) e da minha querida Joana que é minha fiel companheira de faculdade pelo segundo ano consecutivo,e uma amiga exemplar e maravilhosa!

Gifts from my best friend (who sent me a huge package from Hungary) and my darling Joana who is my faithful mate in college for two years now and one of the most wonderful friends i ever had!

As prendas dadas pela família e ainda dinheiro que eu obviamente não fotografei. A maquilhagem,a KeepCup e os livros foram prendas do meu maninho lindo que se esmerou e fez de mim uma mulher feliz,pois ele sabem bem encher-me as medidas e necessidades no que toca a ser uma doida por livros,uma fanática da maquilhagem e uma viciada em café e outra bebidas quentes. O CD foi uma prenda de mim para mim que eu não podia deixar passar. Obviamente,a minha objectiva nova foi a prenda dos meus pais,conseguida depois de uma 'caça à prenda' que me deixou maluca.Eles deram-me exactamente aquele que eu mais queria e sou de momento uma fotógrafa feliz!

Family's gifts and money that i obviously did not photograph. Make-up,books and the KeepCup were of course given to me by my dear brother,who exceeded the limits and made me a very happy girl as he feed me needs of book nerding,make-up galoring and coffee addicted. The CD was a present from me to me that i could not pass by without getting. Obviously,my new lens was a gift from my parents that i got after a present haunt that made me go insane.They got me exactly what i wanted and i am a happy photographer at the moment.

E para finalizar,esta foi a prenda da família para a família.No dia a seguir ao Natal fomos passear e acabamos por ver este carro,que passou a ser nosso.Lindo, confortável e seguro.Sexta já trazemos este menino para casa e se eu começar de facto a tirar a carta agora em Janeiro acho que lá para os meus anos,em Abril,já vou sozinha dar uma volta com ele.

And to end it all,this was the gift from the family to the family.During the day after Christmas we went out and ended up seeing this car,that ended up being ours.Beautiful,comfortable and safe.We will be bring it home this Friday and if all goes right and i start taking my driver's license this January maybe by the time of my birthday,in April,i'll already be driving it around by myself!
